The front side of this coin shows the Armenian coat of arms which features a lion and an eagle. The obverse side also shows the coin’s value in drams (Armenia’s currency) and the year the coin was minted.

HISTORY
Armenia’s culture is full of Christian heritage, as Christianity is Armenia’s official religion. In fact, Mount Ararat, where Noah’s Ark is said to have landed after the flood, is located in modern day Armenia. For these reasons, Armenia decided to celebrate this heritage by designing a silver bullion coin featuring Noah’s Ark.
