CEO & Chief Global Strategist of Euro Pacific Capital Peter Schiff is already revealing his top picks for 2015 to Kitco, saying he plans to invest most of it in international stocks, gold and mining stocks.
Why gold? “Right now, I think gold stocks are so cheap that you can put a higher percentage than you normally would allocated to that sector,” says Schiff. “I believe that the rewards will be phenomenal for people who can stomach the volatility.”
What stocks should investor avoid at all costs? According to Schiff, paper currency, treasuries and the bond markets for sure.
When asked what New Year’s Resolutions he has for next year, Schiff cheekily replied, “Maybe I should take some profits next time gold has a huge run because I didn’t take any last time. I rode it up but I rode it back down.”
